It's so damn sad that this has to be said, but black lives matter, and the current state of policing in the USA is fundamentally broken at best, and the arm of a facist regime at worst (and current). We're not the best sources on what to do or where to donate, but do what you can, and when you need to take care of yourself, do so. Possibly by listening to our podcast, if that's your thing? Which is entirely unrelated to current events, it's just the first thing I got out for the ContenTornado! Strange times, these.
In the first of (hopefully) many bonus episodes, we're publishing an episode like half a decade old, of a podcast that never actually got released! Canon Schills was about reviewing the weird offshoots of famous fictional universes, and for this episode we covered Q-In-Law, a Star Trek TNG novelization of an unused script. And man, they used some baaaad scripts on TNG, so you know you're in for it when they scrape the barrel for the books.
Listen on if you're willing to brave some terrible audio by even our standards, some of the worst gender dynamics Star Trek has to offer, and some commentary by our younger selves that I hope has aged well? I haven't re-listened to this in full, so hopefully we're not hugely offensive at some point in the episode I release during national crisis. ...Alright, so this is a new and exciting territory for "late episode". Real sorry, as far as I'm concerned we have the nine best listeners a podcaster could have, and we dropped the ball on this one. For extremely justified reasons, but still, this demands compensation. You might not have heard, but there's a TORNADO of content coming your way. Best clear the path before it hits, by releasing a episode that should have dropped like 10 days ago.
We start with Power Rangers RPM, where Venjix is really not messing around. The city is swarmed with an endless stream of attack bots, and the culprit behind lowering the city's shields is also deeply important to Dillon's secret backstory. Can he bring himself to lose the only clear link to his past? Probably, but that wasn't even real plan here. To stop immediate destruction, Doctor K just might have to let her team in on a rather big secret...
Then in Zero One, we've done it. We've reached peak "everybody hates Jack". Literally every main character on the show is now working totally together to tear apart more and more of his white outfits into their proper, bedraggled state. Time for the final arc to begin! ...Eventually! Just not now though.
Hints at Scott's "alternate" lifestyle! Me forgetting to include the middle audio transition and refusing to delay further in order to re-encode! The very fictional premise of a series of ridiculous decisions by a rich idiot ruining the world! There's only one podcast that can cover all that... and it's THIS!

Well, we weren't sure what we wanted to do, so we searched our hearts and decided to watch some good Star Wars. Just in time for May the 4th, but we only realized that at the last moment. We were distracted by our GUEST HOST! That's right, we brought our Tokusister Ellen on the show for some fun and games! Will this be a regular thing?
GOD NO, this was so much harder to edit. Things kept getting desynced, there were different audio levels, Ellen lives in a tiny houseboat with her husband so that sound quality wasn't great. But we had a heck of a time doing it, and it's even out early mostly to spite Sam. So blow up some Nazis, seduce some robots, and may the force be with you.

In Kamen Rider Zero One, an important couple of episodes dealing with heavy themes, important story beats, and big moments of character growth is completely overshadowed by one character constantly rubbing a very phallic object on her face for a big chunk of the episode. This is the professionalism you tune in for, folks.
Power Rangers RPM coverage starts around 24:48 ! If you hear some extremely copyrighted music, you're in the right place!
First up in RPM, the blue ranger's backstory! Smooth action, light comedy, and some very easy viewing! Then Doctor K's backstory. Still well done, but... wow, they really were batting for the fences with this one.
