In addition to the usual "Harry got lazy" and "depression is a real one sometimes" reasons, this episode was delayed considerably by data glitches. Eventually they got resolved, and... sometimes, the error is trying to stop you for your own good. We're big arguing idiots. And Sam was totally wrong, but regardless, wow.
But hey, three good episodes of this show! We talk about it! Oh, and Alligator Blood was the song name, not the band. It was okay.

In which our heroes make probably the best decision they could, and just sit down and talk about all their problems. It does take a whole episode.
Then, an episode that deals with one of Jane's more troublesome personalities taking hold, while Larry and Vic meet Danny Street, and we encounter one of the hardest-hitting emotional scenes you'll find until... the next few episodes that we've since watched. WOW this show does not pull punches.
Then we argue about Karaoke, a game so self-expression based that I don't slam Sam for picking terrible choices. Then a random number generator beats us. Great.

The world is ending, how do we stop it? With the help of a nemesis VERY annoyed that the heroes are letting the world get destroyed by somebody other than him. Also involving time travel, cults, Bruce Springsteen, and a cute dog.
But it's not all fun and games, and it may be time for our heroes to realize that they aren't the first Doom Patrol that tried to take on Mr. Nobody.

Doom Patrol! Still good! We start of with a lot of Nazi killing, and although some of our protagonists are dismayed at the outcome, I think it's pretty clear that it's more in the general cosmic sense. Especially since we spared the life of the podcast's new favorite character, ANIMAL-VEGETABLE-MINERAL MAN!
Then, our (not really a) team is interrupted in their search for their mentor when an apocalyptic cult threatens to destroy the world! It's down to these heroes to - oh god they already messed it up. Welp.

So... what would be the thing to do here? Probably talk about the episode in a snide 4th wall-breaking manner, except I usually do that anyways? I'm already doing something unexpected by releasing the episode no more than a week later than the last one, so that's fun.
We watch the first two episodes of Doom Patrol. The writing is tight and elegant, the special effects budget hasn't run out yet, and the diversity is up-front and unapologetic. Everybody says Doom Patrol is great, and so far, we do too!
