Sorry about the late episode, this week was crazy for various reasons, and the audio was a struggle to edit this time! Thankfully this episode is only about one of the more plot-critical episodes of Garo, and one of the best arcs of Double that we've seen in a while.
More specifically, we continue our journey through policewoman Enhou's descent into the hidden darkness of her city, and end up in a very unwelcome place. At least there's some top-grade shipping material with her and Rian!

In Garo, the plot begins to thicken as supercop Enhou finally begins to realize the deeper truths at play in the city. It's enough to shake her sense of reality, and give her some very disturbing dreams. At least, we hope those were dreams.
Back in Futo City, someone is hunting down corrupt cops, and it's definitely Aya, that new policewoman just introduced this episode with a tragic backstory and a grudge! How long can our protagonists avoid realizing this, and keep bumbling into obvious traps along the way? About two episodes.

In a move fuelled by boldness and a fair dose of bad scheduling, our two hosts decide to cover their first Tokusatsu movie live! Even though about half the runtime is the finale for a series our hosts did not watch, and one of which openly despises! It's basically a standard two-episode arc for good old Double, with that good character and plot development, sandwiched between two loaves of nonsense and filler. Since I edit this podcast, I ended up watching this whole movie three times! ONORE SAM!
